Bombay Underground | Monument To A Dead Commuter

At a spot in the station lies a marking of a person in tape resembling the marking done at accident sites. Within the marking, a few personal belongings like a handkerchief, wallet and a single footwear is placed. Around these objects lie six write-ups on stands resembling music stands erected for an open-air concert.
The texts are in three languages: Hindi, English, Marathi which are utterances by various commuters who have lost their lives to trespassing. The objects thus acquire infinite value as they refer to loss and the fragility of human memory.
